TOGAF 9 Part 1 Foundation Certification my preparation experienceThursday, January 23, 2014 9:11 PM

I completed TOGAF 9 Part 1 - Foundation Certification today with 87% Grade. Below are my study and exam experience.

1. I took 2 to 3 weeks of preparation and took the exam. 9 years of IT development experience & working with SOA and Architecture teams helped me a lot in preparation. Studied 2 Hours day on week days and 6 to 8 hours on weekends.

2. Books - Studied Official Open Group Foundation Study Guide (I got book from my office library). This book is enough for both taking the exam and also understand the architecture framework fundamentals. Most of the questions given in the book as practice questions helps a lot. Real questions in the exam are almost similar pattern.

3. While studying try to make notes in a paper, which can be used as quick reference during revision and also day before the exam.

4. I have copied all pictures from the PDF document of the book and prepared quick reference (remembering pictures is much better than notes) some questions are directly answerable by remembering the pictures.

Best of luck... if any questions, you can contact me!!!
